Dr. Ken Greene – Veterinarian


Education
Dr. Ken Greene graduated from Deerfield-Windsor School and then proceeded to study Veterinary Medicine. He graduated from the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine in 1986. He has been at Philema Animal Hospital for over 20 years.

Hobbies
Dr. Greene enjoys working out, cycling, hanging out with friends and family, hunting, fishing, the outdoors, and spending time in Montana. Germany is one of his favorite places to visit and hunt. He has 3 children Maggie, Nathan, and Libby. He loves to spend as much time as he can with them when they are home from college.

During the fall you can find him and his 3 dogs on a dove field or riding around the farm checking deer stands. Dr. Greene has 3 black labs. Abby is highly trained to retrieve doves and duck. Jake and Hank are my rescues that were adopted from the clinic.

Specialties
Dr. Greene is an experienced animal surgeon and can perform a wide variety of procedures. He thoroughly enjoys orthopedic surgery cases including cranial cruciate repair, luxated hips using toggle procedure, and fractures to name a few. Dr. Greene is a wildlife rehabilitator and particularly enjoys rehabbing owls and other birds of prey.


Dr. Trey Morrison – Veterinarian


Education
Dr. Trey Morrison graduated from Lee County High School in 2004. He continued his education at Georgia Southern University and graduated with a B.S. in Biology and a minor in Chemistry in 2008. Dr. Morrison graduated from the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine in 2012.

Pets
Dr. Morrison has 2 dogs, 1 cat, and beef cattle. His basset hound, Sir Walter Dudley, was rescued during his freshmen year of vet school and is over 10 years old. He also has two rescue pets that were adopted locally. Meyer is a 7 year old yellow lab and Milky is a 4 year old kitty cat.

Hobbies
Dr. Morrison enjoys cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs Football and Basketball Teams, the Atlanta Braves, and the Atlanta Falcons. You can often find him checking out the latest movies in theaters or getting some quiet time in a deer stand. His favorite hobby of all is to spend time with his family: wife, Allison, and twin 3 year old daughters, Eliza and Lilly.

Specialties
Dr. Morrison’s specialty in the practice is large animal medicine and surgery. He enjoys working with local beef cattle farms and providing excellent equine medicine to the community. Every winter he offers, alongside Equine Rescue League, a discounted equine castration day. Last year we castrated nearly 20 stallions and were among the top in the state.


Mark Spainhour – Operations Manager

Mr. Spainhour joined our team in February of 2020. He grew up on a cow and calf operation in Worth County and attended Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College on a rodeo scholarship. Mark served 12 years as a medic in the US Army and completed deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan. After his military service, he worked with the Department of Veterans Affairs as a Supervisor with the Office of Community Care, and for a Fortune 100 Company in Healthcare Delivery Operations and Practice Acquisitions. Mark is committed to providing the best care possible to our clients.

Mark enjoys horseback riding, hunting, fishing, and traveling with his wife Becky and children.


Jeana Ross – Office Manager


Jeana Ross has been with us since December 2002.  In addition to her duties as office manager, Jeana grooms by appointment on Fridays.

Jeana Ross enjoys spending time with her family. She continues to impress clients with top notch grooming services. Call PAH to schedule a groom with Jeana at (229) 439-2266.

 

 


Melissa Jarrett – Veterinary Assistant

Melissa has worked here since March of 2014 and has been working in the veterinary field since 2001. She brings a lot of knowledge and experience to the Hospital.

During her spare time she likes baking and crafting. You can always find Melissa lending a hand to others and enjoying time with friends and family.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 


Jessica Hickman – Hospital Client Care Coordinator


Jessica joined our team in March of 2019. She communicates results from diagnostic testing between the client and treatment team, and assists with practice analytics. She also coordinates care with outlying veterinary clinics to provide services that may not be offered at their facilities. She enjoys spending time with her husband and children, and trips to the beach. She also enjoys arts and crafts. Jessica is here to address any concerns or suggestions you may have.

 

 

 

 


Kimberly Barnhill – Client Service Specialist


Kimberly joined our team in May of 2019. She enjoys spending time with her husband and 2 children. She loves outdoor activities including hunting, fishing, and gardening.

 

 

 

 


Stacie Duke – Client Service Specialist

Stacie joined our team in June of 2019 and is a Client Service Specialist. She loves all animals and enjoys fishing. 

 


Kaitlyn Taylor – Client Service Specialist

Kaitlyn joined our team in September of 2019. She enjoys petting every dog she sees and making sure every animal gets the love and attention they deserve. She enjoys spending time with her mom, best friend, family, and work family. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 


Jamie Ivey – Veterinary Assistant


Jamie has over 20 years experience as an Animal Control Officer and has worked in clinics around the country. Jamie has extensive knowledge with gently handling animals and helping the doctors with treatments.

On her days off, she enjoys relaxing with a good book. You can also find her baking cakes and making delicious meals. We are certainly happy to have this talent around the clinic!

 

 


Sydni Moore – Veterinary Assistant


Sydni is native of the area and a Lee County High School graduate. She has been with the clinic since June 2015.

She has been riding horses for over 10 years and currently enjoys spending time with all her 4 legged children. We have displayed at the clinic a wide variety of collars and leashes hand crafted by Sydni. Swing by and check them out!

 


Haley Weaver – Veterinary Assistant


Hailey joined our team in February 2017. She is currently in college as a pre-vet student. After earning her degree, she plans on going to vet school.

When not studying, Hailey enjoys kayaking with friends and family.

 

 


 

Lexy Short – Veterinary Assistant


Lexy has been with us since February 2018. Her daily duties are to make sure all animals are cared for and help with the daily cleaning.

When the weather is nice, Lexy enjoys fishing and skating. On her weekends off, she likes to travel with friends and family.

 

 


Christy Horne – Veterinary Assistant


Christy has been employed with us since 2014. in different capacities.  Along with making sure all animals are cared for, she also helps in our grooming department when needed. Christy enjoys spending time with her child, DIY projects and photography.

 

 

 


Diana Raulerson – Kennel Technician


Diana is one of our new Kennel Techs she has been with us since May 2019. She loves animals and spending time with her ferrets. She enjoys playing video games, hiking and photography.

 

 

 

 


Amanda Daniel – Kennel Technician

Amanda started  working with us in November of 2019. She is one of our  kennel techs. She enjoys caring for her goats and showing livestock. 

 

 

 

 

 


Kalynn Johnson – Groomer
