Dr Trey Morrison

Meet the friendly staff at Philema Animal Clinic!

Trey Morrison

Dr. Trey Morrison graduated from Lee County High School in 2004. He continued his education at Georgia Southern University and graduated with a B.S. in Biology and a minor in Chemistry in 2008. He then graduated from the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine in 2012.

I have 2 dogs, 1 cat and handful of beef cattle. My basset hound, Sir Walter Dudley, was rescued freshmen year of vet school and is over 10 years old! Both my other two pets were adopted from the clinic. Meyer is a 7 year old yellow lab and Milky is a 4 year old kitty cat.

I enjoy cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs football and basketball team, Braves baseball and the Atlanta Falcons. You can often find me checking out the latest movies in theaters or getting some quiet time in a deer stand. My favorite of all is to spend time with my family: wife, Allison, and twin 3 year old daughters, Eliza and Lilly.

My specialty in the practice is large animal medicine and surgery. I enjoy working beef cattle farms and equine medicine. Every winter I offer, alongside Equine Rescue League, a discounted equine castration day.  Last year we castrated nearly 20 stallions and were among the top in the state.
